KABUL, May 3 (Xinhua) -- Afghanistan has exported 466,000 tons of fruits and dried fruits during the Persian calendar year of 1403 ending on March 20, the office of the acting deputy prime minister for economic affairs said on Saturday.
Afghanistan has exported 466,000 tons of fruits and dried fruits worth 643 million U.S. dollars in the cited period, the office said.
Pomegranate, apple, apricot, grape, fig, raisin, almond, walnut, pine nut, and prune were the most agricultural products Afghanistan exported to its trade partners, including Pakistan, India, Uzbekistan, Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates, it said.
Agricultural products, processed food items, textiles, leather, electrical parts, and construction materials are among imported goods. Meanwhile, Afghanistan's main exports include coal, saffron, fresh and dried fruits, hand-woven carpets, and precious and semi-precious stones. ■
