YANGON, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) -- A man of Mro ethnic nationality has been taken away by a four-men group of the Arakan Army (AA) insurgent, Myanmar News Agency reported Friday.

U Thar Tun, 54, was abducted from home in Pyaing Chaung village in Buthidaung township, Rakhine state, on Tuesday night.

Reported by U Thar Tun's wife, local police is making investigation into the case.

Meanwhile, AA had also taken about 200 Myanmar ethnic nationals to Bangladesh territory on Feb. 3.

Myanmar authorities described the action as a deliberate one to create misunderstanding between Myanmar and neighboring Bangladesh.

The 200 ethnic nationals include 38 school children from Rakhine and other nationals from Kintalin and Kamaungwa villages of Paletwa township.

The AA, a non-signatory to the government's Nationwide Cease fire Accord (NCA), launched coordinated attacks on four border police outposts in villages in Buthidaung, Rakhine state on Jan. 4, killing 13 police officers and wounding nine others.
